Hmmm, more like "biological pressures". Our "non-monogamous natures", or even our inclination for non-monogamy, is rooted in biology and not really a result of society

The definition I presented implied that even though we have such nature, we still have the option of not engaging in such activity, ie. Being monogamous despite our biology. Or, as you precisely put it, taking accountability and responsibility for one's actions

And I am all for taking responsibility and choosing monogamy despite our non-monogamous natures
